Gulen-linked bank to sell assets
Bank Asya authorized its general directorate for the potential sale options of the bank''s subsidiaries and affiliates
Bank Asya, Turkey''s largest participation bank which is best known for its close ties to Gulen Community, gave authorization to the banks general directorate to assign potential sale scopes for the subsidiaries and affiliate companies, conduct the necessary meetings with the potential clients.
The bank submitted the statement to Public Disclosure Platform, or KAP. Bank''s shares were closed at 1,72 TL ($0,82) with a premium of 2,99.
Companies such Isik Sigorta which run in the insurance field, the real estate Tuna Gayrimenkul, the pension fund Asya Emeklilik, as well as investment trust Asya Girisim Sermayesi, portfolio management Asya Portföy and Asya Varlik Kiralama are among the subsidiaries of Bank Asya.
