Popular K-Pop band performs traditional Turkish ‘Erik Dali’ dance, enrapturing fans

The world-famous K-pop boy band A.C.E delighted its Turkish fans when the five-member group performed an upbeat traditional Anatolian dance during a special online fan meeting organized by the Korean Culture Center.
Over 15,000 people watched the live performance of “Erik Dalı,” meaning plum branch, as band members put their own twist on the traditional dance usually performed at weddings.
A.C.E answered fans’ questions and also tasted Turkish delicacies such as baklava, lokum and pismaniye, adding that they would love to visit Turkey once the corovairus pandemic is at an end.
They performed the songs most loved by Turkish fans, including, “Favorite Boys”, “’Under Cover”, “Savage” and “If You Heard.”
The tactful boy band also sent messages of sympathy and support to the citizens of the city of İzmir, which is trying to convalesce from the aftermath of a disastrous earthquake, and also to Turkish fans suffering from the coronavirus.
“We hope that the A.C.E online fan meeting will serve as an opportunity to console Turkish fans, who are going through tough days due to the coronavirus, and give them hope,” Korean Culture Center Manager Kee Houng Park said.
