12 killed in fresh Israeli strikes across Gaza Strip

Israeli army targets tents, homes in Gaza City, central, southern parts of enclave, medics tell Anadolu

The Israeli army killed 12 more people early Wednesday in the Gaza Strip, according to medics.

Medical sources told Anadolu that Israeli airstrikes targeted homes and tents sheltering displaced Palestinians in Gaza City, and the central and southern areas of the Gaza Strip.

The latest fatalities came as the Israeli army announced a new phase of its ground offensive in Gaza City on Tuesday as part of a broader strategy to reoccupy the entire city.
