Ephesus was once the trade center of the ancient world and a religious center of early Christianity, but today it's a tourist hotspot in Turkey. The ancient city Ephesus is located in Selçuk in the province of İzmir, Turkey. The city is famous for the Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. The Library of Celsus and an ancient theatre are among many of the monumental buildings located in the city.
