Turkish female boxer wins gold in European championship

Ece Asude Ediz claims gold medal in 80-kg category in Junior European Boxing Championships

Turkish female boxer Ece Asude Ediz won a gold medal in EUBC Junior European Boxing Championships in Galati, Romania on Saturday.

Ediz beat Bulgarian Diyana Al Shaar in 80kg final to claim the gold medal in the tournament in Romania.

Also, Turkish boxers Yagmur Baba in 46kg, Bilge Kagan Kanli in 63kg and Burak Celik in 80kg each won bronze medals.

In total, Turkish boxers have won 1 gold and 3 bronze medals in the championships.
