Alport Banjul makes strategic move to secure Mali cargo routes

Alport Banjul has intensified its hinterland strategy to help restore fuel supplies, reestablish disrupted supply chains, and open a new logistics corridor between The Gambia and Mali, following the blockade of key routes to Mali’s capital Bamako by armed groups, which triggered a severe fuel crisis across the country.
Strengthening Regional Logistics Connectivity
As part of these efforts, Alport Banjul Acting General Manager Salih Levent Kaçar joined the Gambian delegation led by Gambian Minister of Transport Ebrima Sillah on an official visit to Senegal. The visit focused on strengthening regional logistics connections and reinforcing Bamako-bound cargo traffic through the Port of Banjul.
