The Turkish leader was formally welcomed at an official ceremony by Kuwait's Emir, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, signaling the importance both nations place on strengthening bilateral ties.
High-Level Delegation for Comprehensive Talks
President Erdoğan's delegation underscores the comprehensive nature of the discussions. He is accompanied by First Lady Emine Erdoğan, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, and the ministers of energy, defense, finance, industry, and trade. The head of the National Intelligence Organization, İbrahim Kalın, and Communications Director Burhanettin Duran are also part of the visiting party, indicating talks will cover a wide spectrum from diplomacy and security to economic cooperation.
Agenda Focused on Strengthening Bilateral Relations
Following the welcoming ceremony, the Turkish President proceeded to the Bayan Palace for bilateral and inter-delegation meetings with the Kuwaiti Emir. The agenda for these talks is expected to culminate in the signing of several agreements designed to deepen the partnership between Türkiye and Kuwait. The official program will conclude with an official dinner hosted in President Erdoğan's honor by Emir Mishal.
