A Slovakian Muslim woman has become the second candidate with headscarf who has joined election race for the European Parliament after the candidate from Greece

Faila Pasiç Bisiç has been nominated as candidate from Slovenia''s Social Liberal Party. She will be a MP wearing headscarf in the European Parliament should she win in the polls on May 25.

Bisiç, a mother of two, decided go into politics to contribute into efforts to find a solution for women''s social problems. ''I can do this if only I do politics actively. So, I will do this,'' she said.

Anna Stamou has nominated from the Greece''s Eco Green Party to strife to put an end to any discrimination against Muslims and to ensure equality for Muslims in her country.

A total of 8 MPs will be elected in Slovenia.
