SAHA 2026 defense expo opens in Istanbul with 1,700 companies, 203 new products

Türkiye's SAHA 2026 International Defense and Aerospace Exhibition opened in Istanbul with 1,700 companies, including 263 international firms, and over 30,000 industry professionals from 120 countries. A total of 203 new products will be introduced, with the event aiming to raise export contracts to $8 billion.
Türkiye's SAHA 2026 International Defense and Aerospace Exhibition opened its doors to visitors at the Istanbul Expo Center on Tuesday, with 1,700 companies, including 263 international firms, and over 30,000 industry professionals from more than 120 countries in attendance. Organized by SAHA Istanbul, Türkiye's and Europe's largest defense, aerospace, and space industry cluster, the event is being held with Anadolu as its global communication partner.
Exhibition scale
Held across a total indoor and outdoor area of 400,000 square meters, SAHA 2026 has allocated 20,000 sq m for outdoor exhibition space, making it one of the largest editions to date. A total of 203 new products will be introduced, and 164 signing ceremonies will be held.
Baykar unveils MIZRAK
Turkish drone giant Baykar will display MIZRAK, a nationally developed smart loitering munition with a range of over 1,000 kilometers and artificial intelligence-supported autonomous capabilities. Baykar's K2 Kamikaze UAV and Sivrisinek loitering munition will also be exhibited for the first time.

Aselsan, Roketsan, STM
Aselsan will present five new products and six upgraded versions. The ALKA-KAPLAN HYBRID Directed Energy Weapon System Platform, developed by Roketsan and FNSS, will appear with additional capabilities. Roketsan's newest technology products will be introduced, while STM will display air and naval systems for the modern battlefield.
International participation
Participation from Europe, the US, and Canada stands out, with more than 140 official delegations, over 800 official delegation members, and more than 200 trade procurement delegation representatives. The fair will be open to public visitors on May 9.
