Samanyolu TV channel considers HAMAS as ''terroris
Samanyolu TV (STV) Channel, run by the followers loyal to the US-based scholar Fethullah Gulen, regarded the fighters of Palestinian Islamic Movement, dubbed HAMAS, as ''terrorist'' in a recent live news broadcast.
''The Israeli Air Forces carried out strikes against 7 terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip,'' stated the Gülen-linked channel in its news report.
Three Palestinians were killed and a number of civilians were injured in the air strike, which was described as a ''retaliation'' against terrorists in the Gaza Strip by the Gulen-affiliated STV.
167 Palestinians were killed and at least 1,200 others were seriously wounded during the three-week long conflict in the Strip, known as the Operation Cast Lead. The Gaza War ended on 2009 in a unilateral ceasefire.
The Channel''s report has been seen as an attempt to misguide Turkish public prior to Israel''s imminent massive strikes on the Gaza Strip.
