Six Daesh terrorists killed in Türkiye's Yalova, three officers martyred

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya stated Monday that the operation was part of Türkiye's ongoing efforts against the Daesh terrorist organization. He reported that the terrorists opened fire on security forces during the mission, leading to a direct confrontation.

The attack by the terrorists resulted in the martyrdom of three police officers. An additional eight police officers and one security guard sustained injuries in the firefight, highlighting the perilous nature of domestic counterterrorism operations.
