Turkish locals protest opening of a new McDonald's branch in Istanbul
Residents of Istanbul's Üsküdar district gathered to protest the opening of a McDonald's in the Bahçelievler neighborhood.
Protesters expressed their opposition to the fast-food chain because of its financial links to Israel, citing the ongoing genocide in Gaza. Participants held Palestinian flags and banners, condemning companies that support the Israeli government.
