Amazon worker accuses Jeff Bezos of Gaza genocide complicity
A protest campaign targeting Amazon and its founder Jeff Bezos unfolded in New York ahead of the 2026 Met Gala, with video messages projected onto a Manhattan residence associated with Bezos. The campaign featured testimony from a former Amazon employee, who accused the company of involvement in controversial technology investments and labor practices.
He stated, “Amazon is heavily invested in this genocide. They invest $7.2 billion into Project Nimbus, a project that is being used to fund and power the technology being used to surveil and target innocent Palestinians. Also, we all know that Amazon has ties to ICE. They have powering ice devices.” The protest also called for a boycott of the Met Gala, where Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos were named honorary chairs.
