American activist slams US over billion-dollar daily cost of Iran war
American activist David Bomer criticized the U.S. government’s spending on the ongoing war on Iran, saying that the war — driven by U.S. and Israeli operations — is costing the country nearly $890 million per day.
Data from the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) estimates that $3.7 billion was spent in the first 100 hours of the campaign, largely due to the deployment of advanced munitions, stealth aircraft, and other high-cost weapon systems.
Bomer argued that such funds would be better invested in domestic priorities such as healthcare, education, and social welfare programs, calling for attention to poverty and economic inequality instead of foreign wars.
