Flying cow leaves onlookers dumbfounded in Switzerland

An injured cow on Tuesday was airlifted by a helicopter to the lower ground of Swiss Alps, much to the bemusement of onlookers who were left dumbfounded by the ensuing colorful scenes.
Every year in autumn, approximately 1,000 cows have get transported to the lower Swiss Alps for an event called the Bodenfahrt. However, residents were stunned this year by a never-before-seen incident that has put a smile on their faces.

One of the cows on the upper grounds had suffered a limb injury which prompted its owner Ambros to rent a helicopter to transport the cow in the air instead so as to not further strain the extremity. The cow was tied to a helicopter and brought downhill.
The cow airlift was an efficient “shortcut,” Arnold told the Swiss publication Limmattaler Zeitung.
While the cow was not in any pain but it might have been traumatized after being lifted into the air so suddenly, he conceded.
