Overnight attacks across Gaza
Medical sources told Anadolu that eight people were wounded by Israeli fire in separate incidents since Monday morning. In northern Gaza’s Beit Lahia, six people — including a woman and her child — were injured by artillery shelling near a mosque in the Tel al-Dahab area. Another Palestinian was shot by Israeli soldiers in Beit Lahia, while a passerby was wounded by army fire in Gaza City. Witnesses reported a powerful explosion in eastern Gaza City early Monday during an Israeli demolition operation, accompanied by artillery shelling. In Khan Younis, Israeli military vehicles fired machine guns toward eastern and central areas of the southern city.
Ceasefire violations and destruction
Despite a ceasefire agreement reached after two years of war, Israeli strikes have continued. According to the Health Ministry, 854 people have been killed and 2,453 injured since the truce took effect. The war has caused widespread destruction, affecting 90% of civilian infrastructure across Gaza.
