Hezbollah said Thursday that it launched 13 attacks on Israeli troops, vehicles, and military positions in southern Lebanon, adding that the operations came in response to continued Israeli ceasefire violations and attacks on Lebanese villages. The group said the attacks included strikes on three Israeli Merkava tanks in Kfarkela, Al-Bayyada, and Taybeh using missiles and suicide drones, claiming direct hits.
Vehicle and troop targets
Hezbollah also said it targeted an Israeli Hummer vehicle in Tayr Harfa and struck Israeli troop movements and positions in several areas, including Al-Bayyada, Deir Seryan, and Naqoura. The attacks also targeted gatherings of Israeli troops and vehicles in Al-Bayyada, Rashaf, Deir Seryan, and Ras Naqoura using missiles, drones, and artillery shelling.
Military site strikes
Hezbollah further said it shelled the Blat military site, targeting technical equipment there with a suicide drone and striking an Israeli artillery position in Adaisseh. Earlier Thursday, the Israeli army issued evacuation warnings for eight towns in eastern and southern Lebanon before announcing strikes on what it claimed were Hezbollah infrastructure sites.
