Israel reports over 6,100 wounded since Iran war began

Israel has recorded more than 6,100 injuries since the outbreak of its conflict with Iran on Feb. 28, with over a hundred people still undergoing treatment, as continued exchanges of strikes deepen the humanitarian and security impact of the regional escalation.
The Israeli Health Ministry said a total of 6,131 individuals have been transported to hospitals since the war began, reflecting the cumulative toll of ongoing missile and drone attacks linked to Iran’s retaliation.
Current medical situation
In an update shared via X, the ministry reported that 118 patients remain under medical care. Among them, one person is listed in critical condition, 17 are in serious condition, and 27 are classified as moderate cases. A further 72 individuals are being treated for minor injuries, while one person is receiving care for anxiety-related symptoms.
The figures highlight the sustained pressure on Israel’s healthcare system as hostilities continue.
Ongoing regional escalation
The conflict intensified following coordinated US and Israeli strikes on Iran, which have resulted in more than 1,340 deaths, including senior Iranian leadership figures such as Ali Khamenei.
Iran has responded with missile and drone attacks targeting Israel, as well as locations in Jordan, Iraq and Gulf countries hosting US military assets, contributing to casualties and infrastructure damage across multiple fronts.

Broader impact on stability
The continued exchange of attacks has disrupted regional security and affected global systems, including aviation routes and energy markets. Strategic نقاط such as the Strait of Hormuz remain under heightened scrutiny due to their importance in global oil supply chains.
