The Israeli army has threatened to strike every component of Iran's defense industry as its month-long offensive continues. Spokesman Effie Defrin claimed Israel deepened damage to Iran's military production over the weekend and vowed to complete attacks on all fundamental defense components. He also confirmed strikes on two major aerospace factories and one uranium facility in Iran.

The Israeli military has announced its intention to strike every component of Iran's defense industry as part of the ongoing US-Israeli offensive now entering its second month. Army spokesman Effie Defrin issued the threat on Saturday, claiming that Israel had already deepened damage to Iran's military production capacity over the weekend.

'We will complete the attack on all fundamental components'

Defrin stated that in the coming days, Israeli forces would complete attacks on "all fundamental and vital components of Iran's defense industry," asserting that they would destroy a large portion of Iran's military manufacturing capability. The spokesman also revealed that on Friday, Israel targeted two major factories producing aerospace equipment in Iran, as well as one uranium facility.

Escalating hostilities grip the region

The threats come amid dramatically heightened tensions since the United States and Israel launched a joint air offensive against Iran on February 28. The campaign has so far killed more than 1,340 people, including former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Israel's stated aim appears to be the systematic degradation of Iran's ability to produce and sustain military equipment.

Iranian retaliation continues

In response to the ongoing strikes, Tehran has launched multiple waves of drone and missile attacks targeting Israel, as well as Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf nations hosting US military assets. The retaliatory strikes have caused casualties, damaged infrastructure, and disrupted global markets and aviation, raising fears of a wider regional war.
