Israeli army, occupiers injure four Palestinians in West Bank

The Palestinian Red Crescent said four Palestinians including a teenager were injured Saturday in separate attacks by Israeli forces and occupiers across the occupied West Bank, as violence in the territory continues alongside the war in Gaza.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said on Saturday that four Palestinians, including a 17-year-old boy, were injured in separate attacks by Israeli forces and occupiers across the occupied West Bank, with incidents reported in both the northern city of Tulkarem and the southern city of Hebron.
Attacks in Tulkarem
Israeli forces opened fire on a 17-year-old Palestinian boy near the Nur Shams refugee camp in Tulkarem, the humanitarian organization said. The teenager sustained gunshot wounds to his hand and knee before receiving medical treatment from Red Crescent teams at the scene. In a separate incident in the same city, Israeli occupiers assaulted another Palestinian who required hospitalization, according to the statement.
Violence in Hebron
A Palestinian teenage girl was injured in Hebron after an attack by Israeli settlers, receiving first aid from Red Crescent crews at the scene. The organization added that another Palestinian was beaten by Israeli forces in Hebron and subsequently transferred to a hospital for treatment.

Occupation context
Palestinian estimates indicate that approximately 750,000 Israeli occupiers live in the occupied West Bank, including 250,000 in East Jerusalem. The settlements are considered illegal under international law.
Since the start of the war in the Gaza Strip in October 2023, Israeli forces and occupiers have intensified operations across the West Bank. At least 1,155 Palestinians have been killed and 11,750 others wounded in the territory during this period, while nearly 22,000 have been arrested, according to Palestinian figures.
