Israeli Forces Detain 10 Palestinians in West Bank Military Operations

Israeli military forces have detained ten Palestinians during operations across the occupied West Bank, including a 14-year-old in Nablus. The arrests occurred alongside attacks by Israeli settlers that destroyed Palestinian vehicles and olive trees, while authorities warned families of prisoners scheduled for release under the Gaza ceasefire agreement against celebratory activities.
Israeli military operations in the occupied West Bank resulted in the detention of ten Palestinians on Sunday, according to local media reports. The arrests took place across multiple locations including the town of Silwad near Ramallah and the northern city of Nablus, where one of those detained was a 14-year-old minor.
Israeli forces conducted additional raids targeting the homes of Palestinian detainees scheduled for release under the recently announced Gaza ceasefire agreement. Military officials issued warnings to families in Hebron and Tubas against organizing welcome ceremonies, displaying flags, or expressing support for Hamas. The ceasefire arrangement includes the release of 2,000 Palestinian prisoners in exchange for 48 Israeli hostages held in Gaza.
Concurrent with military operations, illegal Israeli settlers carried out multiple attacks on Palestinian property throughout the West Bank. Witnesses reported settlers burning three vehicles in Nablus and Ramallah while destroying 150 olive trees and beehives in eastern Ramallah. These incidents represent the latest in a pattern of settler violence that has escalated since the beginning of the Gaza conflict two years ago.

Official data from the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission documents over 7,150 settler assaults against Palestinians and their properties during the past two years. These attacks have resulted in 34 Palestinian fatalities and forced the displacement of 33 Bedouin communities. Since the Gaza war began, West Bank casualties have exceeded 1,050 deaths with more than 10,300 injuries and approximately 20,000 arrests, including 1,600 children.
