Nine Palestinians have been killed in a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting residential areas and vehicles across the Gaza Strip, despite an active ceasefire agreement. The attacks occurred in multiple locations throughout the coastal enclave, resulting in numerous casualties including children.
Multiple Locations Targeted
In Gaza City's Rimal neighborhood, civil defense crews recovered three bodies and treated several injured individuals, including children, following an airstrike on a civilian vehicle near Abbas Junction. Medical sources later confirmed a fourth fatality from the same incident. Meanwhile, in central Gaza's Nuseirat refugee camp, Al-Awda Hospital reported three deaths and eleven injuries when an Israeli strike hit a house adjacent to the medical facility.
Expanding Military Operations
Further violence was reported in Deir al-Balah where two Palestinians were killed and others wounded, including children, when a residential home was struck. Israeli forces also injured three Palestinians near al-Bureij camp and Jabalia. The Israeli military claimed in a statement that it had "eliminated" a gunman who allegedly crossed the designated yellow line separation boundary.

Ceasefire Violations Continue
The casualties occurred as Israeli forces conducted additional strikes in eastern Rafah, Khan Younis, and various neighborhoods in Gaza City. Witnesses reported the demolition of residential buildings through airstrikes and controlled detonations, particularly in areas falling under Israeli-controlled zones. The Israeli military maintains control over more than 50% of Gaza territory despite the ceasefire arrangement, with recent weeks seeing escalated operations along the separation boundaries.
