Oman Air extends flight cancellations amid regional airspace closures

Oman’s national carrier announced Thursday that flights to seven destinations will remain canceled until April 15, citing continued airspace closures across the region. According to a statement on X, the affected routes include Dubai, Bahrain, Doha, Kuwait, Copenhagen, Baghdad, and Khasab. Services to Amman and Dammam are set to resume on April 1. Passengers with impacted bookings can manage their reservations through the airline’s website or mobile application, while the remainder of its network continues to operate normally.

The disruption reflects a broader pattern of aviation upheaval across the Middle East since the outbreak of hostilities on February 28, when the United States and Israel launched a joint offensive against Iran.
