Pladis marks 10th anniversary with expansion across 110 countries, £3 billion in annual revenue

Global snacking company Pladis is celebrating its 10th anniversary, highlighting a decade of international expansion, investment and growth while reaffirming its focus on sustainability and people.
In a LinkedIn post marking the milestone, Pladis Chairman Murat Ülker reflected on the company’s founding vision, saying the goal was never simply to unite strong brands under one roof, but to carry brands that have been part of consumers’ lives for generations into the future through a shared vision.
“Today, as we celebrate Pladis’ 10th anniversary, I see a success that goes far beyond numbers,” Ülker said, noting that the company’s brands continue to be part of childhood memories, family gatherings and everyday moments around the world.
Over the past decade, Pladis has grown into a global food manufacturer with operations spanning more than 110 countries. According to Ülker, the company now employs approximately 16,000 people worldwide and has surpassed £3 billion ($4.1 billion) in annual net revenue.
The company also expanded its manufacturing network to 26 factories while continuing investments across key markets including Türkiye, the United Kingdom, Egypt, the United States, Saudi Arabia, India, Nigeria and Kazakhstan.
Pladis owns several internationally recognised brands, including McVitie’s, Ülker and Godiva, which Ülker said have continued to reach new generations of consumers.
Beyond its financial performance, Ülker emphasised the company’s sustainability strategy through its “Happy People, Happy Planet” approach, describing it as a key pillar of Pladis’ long-term growth.
He added that the company’s greatest strength lies not in its factories or financial results, but in its employees, business partners and the relationships it has built with consumers.
“The real strength of Pladis is not in its factories, offices or numbers, but in the people who contribute to these brands and the bond we have built with our consumers,” Ülker said.
Looking ahead, Ülker thanked employees, partners and customers for their contributions over the past decade and expressed confidence that the company would continue creating value and “making people happy” in the years to come.
