Saudi Arabia's Foreign Ministry on Wednesday issued a strong condemnation of Iranian attacks against Bahrain and Kuwait, describing the strikes as a "clear violation" of international law and the UN Charter. In an official statement, the ministry expressed its "strongest condemnation" of what it termed the "brutal aggression" and "blatant violation" of the sovereignty of both Gulf states.
Categorical rejection
Reiterating its "categorical rejection" of the attacks, the ministry said the strikes constitute a breach of international norms and threaten regional security efforts. The statement emphasized that such actions undermine the sovereignty of Manama and Kuwait City.
Solidarity with Gulf allies
Riyadh renewed its solidarity with Bahrain and Kuwait, offering "full support" for any measures the two nations take to safeguard their sovereignty and stability. The Saudi position comes amid heightened tensions in the Gulf following recent Iranian military actions.
