Terrorist organization PKK decides to withdraw from Turkish territory

The PKK terrorist organization has publicly declared it is withdrawing its armed elements from Turkish territory and transferring them to bases in northern Iraq. Senior figures from the designated terrorist group read a formal statement from the foothills of Mount Qandil near Sulaymaniyah in Iraq. The declaration referenced resolutions made during the group's May congress, which had been conducted under the direction of imprisoned leader Abdullah Ocalan. According to the statement, Ocalan had personally approved the withdrawal process currently underway.

The terrorist organization claimed this movement represents part of its broader decision to end both its organizational presence and armed activities within Türkiye. The group indicated that armed elements are now in the process of relocating from positions inside Turkish borders to their bases in northern Iraq. During the announcement in the Qandil region, approximately 23 terrorists who had reportedly left Turkish territory were present.
