Three Palestinians were injured Monday in Israeli strikes targeting the western Jabalia refugee camp in Gaza, marking another reported violation of the ceasefire agreement. The attack hit an area from which Israeli forces had previously withdrawn.

Three Palestinians were wounded on Monday in Israeli airstrikes on the western Jabalia refugee camp in the Gaza Strip, medical sources reported, highlighting another breach of the fragile ceasefire. The strikes targeted an area that Israeli forces had vacated under the terms of the truce, according to witnesses.

Details of the Attack

A medical source told Anadolu that the three injured individuals were hit in the already heavily damaged Jabalia camp, though their conditions were not immediately disclosed. Witnesses said Israeli attacks also struck eastern Gaza City, the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, and Rafah in the south, signaling continued military activity despite the ceasefire.

Continued Violence in the West Bank

Separately, a Palestinian was injured late Sunday when an Israeli military vehicle rammed his car in Tulkarem, according to the official Palestinian news agency Wafa. He was transported to a hospital by Red Crescent teams, and his vehicle sustained severe damage. In Hebron, state media released video footage showing Israeli soldiers assaulting a 61‑year‑old Palestinian man with an amputated foot, knocking him to the ground and kicking him while a soldier pointed a weapon at him.

Broader Context of Casualties and Occupation

The Israeli military offensive in Gaza since October 2023 has killed more than 71,200 people—mostly women and children—and injured over 171,200, leaving the enclave in ruins. In the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces and settlers have killed at least 1,103 Palestinians, injured nearly 11,000, and detained around 21,000 during the same period. These actions continue despite a landmark International Court of Justice opinion last July that declared Israel’s occupation illegal and called for the evacuation of all settlements.
