"This will be my 10th war," Trump said, adding that it has been an honor to resolve nine wars worldwide. He invited both leaders to the White House in the near future, noting that negotiations between the two countries have been productive.
Netanyahu's position
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that Israel has accepted the temporary ceasefire but stated that Israel will continue to remain in occupied areas of southern Lebanon. The Israeli military has maintained a presence in border villages since launching its ground offensive on March 2.

The Lebanon ceasefire follows a two-week truce between the US and Iran, which remains in place. A separate 10-day ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon took effect Friday, following US-mediated talks in Washington. The Iran war remains on hold with efforts to end it permanently underway.
