"They want me to give a speech at the Knesset and I will definitely do that if they want me to," Trump told Axios reporter Barak Ravid in a social media exchange. The president characterized the agreement as "a great day for Israel and for the world," noting his positive conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whom he described as "so happy" about the diplomatic achievement.

The Gaza ceasefire deal, announced earlier Wednesday, includes provisions for hostage release and Israeli troop repositioning. "ALL of the Hostages will be released very soon, and Israel will withdraw their Troops to an agreed upon line as the first steps toward a Strong, Durable, and Everlasting Peace," Trump stated, emphasizing fair treatment for all parties involved. The White House confirmed Trump is considering additional regional travel, potentially including Egypt, following a scheduled medical checkup.
