Turkey sent its third military shipment to Qatar. Two armored vehicles and 171 military personnel were dispatched.
The troops will take part in a joint military drill with Qatari troops. Turkish troops have previously trained with Qatari troops at Doha’s Tariq bin Ziyad military base.
The joint military exercises are aimed at developing plans to fight terrorism and design peacekeeping operations.
Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, cut all economic and diplomatic ties with Qatar, accusing Doha of supporting terrorism.
A 13-point list of demands were sent to Qatar, aiming to end this blockade, which included the shutting down of the Turkish military base.
