Two Palestinian teens killed by Israeli forces and settlers in occupied West Bank

Two Palestinian teenagers have been killed by Israeli forces and settlers in separate incidents in the occupied West Bank. A 19-year-old was executed at close range by an Israeli settler near Hebron while soldiers prevented medical aid, and a 17-year-old was shot dead by Israeli troops during a military raid near Nablus, continuing the pattern of lethal violence against Palestinian youth.
Israeli forces and settlers have killed two Palestinian teenagers in separate violent attacks across the occupied West Bank, according to Palestinian reports. The killings include the execution-style shooting of a 19-year-old by an Israeli settler and the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old by Israeli soldiers, highlighting the ongoing deadly violence faced by Palestinian youth under occupation.
Settler Execution in Hebron
In a brutal incident near Hebron, 19-year-old Ahmed Rubhi al-Atrash was executed with a close-range shot to the head by an Israeli settler. Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli forces deliberately blocked Palestinian Red Crescent paramedics from providing emergency medical care to the critically wounded teenager, leaving him to bleed to death on the ground. The Israeli military subsequently confiscated his body after forcing family members to identify their slain relative.
Military Killing in Nablus
The second teenage victim, 17-year-old Jamil Atef Hannani, was fatally shot in the chest by Israeli soldiers during a military invasion of Beit Furik, east of Nablus. Despite being transported to Rafidia Government Hospital, medical officials pronounced him dead upon arrival. The killing occurred during one of the frequent Israeli military raids that terrorize Palestinian communities in the northern West Bank.

Systematic Violence Against Palestinians
These latest killings reflect the systematic nature of Israeli violence in the occupied territories, where Palestinian authorities document over 1,063 fatalities and 10,300 injuries since October 2023. The pattern of lethal force against Palestinian youth continues despite the International Court of Justice's ruling last July that condemned Israel's occupation as illegal and demanded the dismantlement of all West Bank and East Jerusalem settlements.
