Ukraine Announces High-Level Delegation to Visit US Next Week

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that a high-level government delegation will visit the United States at the start of next week for comprehensive security and diplomatic discussions. The Ukrainian leader confirmed the upcoming talks will address critical issues including air defense systems, energy infrastructure protection, and international sanctions enforcement.

The Ukrainian delegation will be led by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko and include Presidential Office head Andriy Yermak along with Sanctions Policy Commissioner Vladyslav Vlasiuk. Key discussion topics will encompass air defense capabilities, energy security measures, sanctions implementation steps, negotiation frameworks, and the status of frozen Russian assets.

President Zelenskyy expressed confidence that US President Donald Trump desires Ukraine's participation in negotiation processes and seeks ceasefire implementation. The Ukrainian leader noted that despite external challenges, bilateral relations remain "warm at various levels" with continued dialogue following their September meeting during the UN General Assembly session.

Preparations are advancing for the continued operation of the "Coalition of the Willing" international support framework. Zelenskyy indicated his recent discussions provided US leadership with enhanced understanding of Russian capabilities, suggesting Moscow has overstated its diplomatic and military positions during previous communications with American officials.
