Agreement for joint control at Serpneve-1 – Basarabeasca checkpoint will improve security, promote trade, says Ukraine's State Border Guard Service
The Ukrainian Border Guard Service announced on Thursday the signing of a protocol with Moldova on joint control at the Serpneve-1 – Basarabeasca railway checkpoint.
The protocol was signed by the heads of border and customs departments, a statement published on Telegram said.
It added that the agreement "will improve security, promote the development of transit potential and intensify trade and economic activities" between the two countries.
