Enviable 37-year friendship between Turkish postman and swan
Recep Mirzan, a retired postman, goes for an evening walk with his best friend, a white swan called "Garip," which means strange in Turkish, in the western province of Edirne. Mirzan rescued and healed the injured Garip during a delivery to a village while he was working as a postman in 1984. The duo have been friends for 37 years.
