Turkish PM condemn assault on Kılıçdaroğlu

Turkey''s Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan strongly condemned the assault against Republican People Party''s leader Kemal Kiliçdaroglu.

''It is not a way which can be resorted to in a democratic system. We can never accept the violence'' said Erdogan.

''We consider this attack to be an act of aggression against democracy and freedom of opinion. We call for the perpetrator to be brought to justice.''

The main opposition leader was assaulted in Parliament before his party''s group meeting earlier Tuesday. The assailant, delivered several kicks and punched Kiliçdaroglu, was detained after the attack.
