Three workers die in tragic scaffold collapse

Three workers tragically fell 10 storeys to their death after strong winds shook their scaffold, making them lose their balance, and broke the safety ropes
Three workers were killed and two others magically survived in scaffold collapse in the western province of İzmir, the reports have said.
The scaffold workers were painting the exterior walls of a 10-storey apartment building when the accident occurred.
It took place in the Bornova district at 9 a.m. earlier on Saturday.
A witness said that five workers fell from the 10th floor of the building when the safety ropes of their scaffold broke after it had swayed from the wind.
Three of them died immediately on the spot while the two others, severely injured, survived with the help of paramedics who did cardiac massage.
Family members of the three victims suffered a nervous breakdown.
Police opened an investigation into the scaffold collapse.
