Albayrak Group Driving Modernization Of Ahmed Sékou Touré Airport

This visit is part of a close follow-up of the expansion and modernization program for the country’s main air hub. The project, implemented as a public–private partnership, has been entrusted to Albayrak Group, a Turkish conglomerate widely recognized for its international expertise in major infrastructure works.

The inspection visit highlighted the scale of the transformation underway. The General Aviation building, now nearing completion, showcases the ambition of an airport built to meet international standards. The visitors also toured the new freight terminal, the power plant, the water storage facilities, and the modernized administrative offices of SOGEAG, all upgraded to meet cutting-edge technical specifications.

Each of these infrastructures reflects the vision of a modern, efficient, and sustainable airport designed to meet the growing demands of international air travel, offering passengers and airlines alike a superior experience.
