The son of America's 45th President-elect Donald Trump visits Antalya to relieve the stress of the recent presidential election, report says
The U.S. President-elect Donald Trump's third son, Eric Trump, made an unofficial tour to Turkey's southern resort city of Antalya, local media reported on Thursday.
Eric Trump, 33, paid the unannounced visit to Turkey upon the invitation of a Turkish businessman, Turkish daily Hurriyet reported.
Trump came to Antalya to relieve the stress of the latest election, which was one of the longest and most bitter campaigns in recent American history.
His private guards accompanied Trump during his tour, the paper said, adding he used the VIP gates of the Antalya International airport during arrival and departure.
Eric Trump stayed three days in the city, which included a hunting trip to the Finike countryside under the approval of the Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks. He pursued and shot two wild deer.
The Turkish authority also provided special guards for the son of America's 45th present after receiving information about her visit from the U.S. embassy in Ankara.
After his three-day-long visit, Trump departed the Mediterranean coast city for Germany at 11:40 a.m. on Tuesday on an regularly scheduled flight.
