IRGC says 21 US targets hit across region, warns of 'crushing' response

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard said early Wednesday that it struck 21 American military installations across the region in coordinated missile and drone attacks on bases in Jordan and Kuwait, warning that its forces were prepared to deliver a “crushing and decisive” response to any further US aggression.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said early Wednesday that long-range missiles and drones had struck 21 American military targets across the region, destroying aircraft hangars and command facilities at bases in Jordan and Kuwait. In a statement, the elite force said four major targets at the Al-Azraq base in Jordan were destroyed, including hangars housing F-35 fighter jets and a command-and-control center.
The IRGC also said it launched a drone attack against the Ali Al Salem Base in Kuwait, describing the operations as direct responses to American aggression. The announcements came hours after Washington launched strikes on southern Iran.
Drone downing claim
The IRGC separately claimed that its air defenses shot down a US MQ-9 drone over Jam County in southern Bushehr province. It warned that its forces remained fully prepared to deliver a “crushing and decisive” response to any new attack, adding that US forces would bear responsibility for the consequences.
US 'self-defense' strikes
US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced late Tuesday that it had completed “self-defense” strikes against Iranian air defense systems and radar sites near the Strait of Hormuz. The command said the attacks targeted capabilities involved in the earlier downing of a US Army Apache helicopter.
