Russia receives upgraded batch of Su-57 fifth-generation fighter jets

Russia has taken delivery of a new batch of upgraded Su-57 fifth-generation fighter jets, according to an announcement from the state-owned defense giant Rostec. The aircraft, manufactured by Rostec subsidiary United Aircraft Corporation, have been supplied to the Russian Defense Ministry in an enhanced technical configuration with modernized avionics and weapon systems.

Rostec head Sergey Chemezov stated the newly delivered jets are "even more powerful and dangerous" than previous versions.
