President Donald Trump warned on Wednesday that the United States will "probably" launch additional strikes against Iran later in the evening, issuing the threat during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Ankara.
'Over'
"We hit them very hard last night, very, very. Probably hit them hard again tonight. I'll give him a little warning. We're going to hit him hard tonight," Trump said. The president declared a memorandum of understanding to end the conflict was terminated. "It's a very interesting question to me. I think it's over," he added when asked whether the deal was dead.
Strait of Hormuz
Washington launched strikes following attacks on vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. Trump did not specify targets, though he said Iranian forces would face further action. The warning comes as NATO leaders convened in Türkiye's capital to address regional instability.
