Turkey-located air carriers have 33 cargo, 525 passenger aircraft
The number of aircraft owned by Turkey-based air carriers rose to 558 in 2021, official figures showed on Tuesday.
According to the country's Directorate General of Civil Aviation figures, the number of aircraft was 554 in 2020 and 546 in 2019.
The flag carrier Turkish Airlines has the largest fleet, with 356 aircraft, while Pegasus followed it with 90 aircraft.
While carriers have 33 cargo aircraft, rest of the total fleet, 525, was for passenger carrying.
