Inspired by Ertugrul drama, 13-year-old US boy embraces Islam with Turkish actor

Four years after his mother Heather converted to Islam, 13-year-old Lloyd, who lives in the U.S. state of Michigan, started researching the religion of peace after watching the smash-hit Turkish drama Resurrection: Ertugrul. He converted to Islam and recited the proclamation of faith with Celal Al, who portrays Abdurrahman Alp in the historical show, after the actor traveled to the U.S. for an event.
