Ambassadors hall at Ottoman Palace restored to original splendor
Used as a guest room for the ambassadors as they waited to meet the Ottoman Sultan of the time, the Sufera Hall at Istanbul’s Dolmabahce Palace is currently under restoration to return it to its original splendor. Built in the 19th century, the Dolmabahce Palace in Besiktas district of Istanbul was one of the most alluring palaces in the world and the administrative center of the late Ottoman Empire. The palace was home to six Ottoman Sultans and also the Presidential house to the founder of Turkish Republic Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
