Ertugrul actor expresses yearning to visit Kaaba, Mecca on social media

Turkish actor Celal Al shared a picture of his previous visit to Mecca and said that he longed to revisit the holy city
Turkish star Celal Al, who shot to fame with the smash hit historical drama Resurrection: Ertugrul, expressed his longing to visit the holy Kaaba in a throwback Instagram story he posted to his account on Friday.
Sharing a flashback photo of his visit to Mecca in 2016 on the social media platform, the 35-year-old actor, who starred as Abdulrahman Alp in the globally-acclaimed TV show, said he is longing to revisit.
“How I miss you so,” he wrote, wishing his followers a happy Friday, which is a religious day in Islam.
Often described as the Turkish Game of Thrones, the series is woven around 13th century Anatolia and tells the story prior to the establishment of the Ottoman Empire. It illustrates the struggle of Ertugrul Gazi, father of the empire's founder.
