About Prayer Times
Imsak (Fajr) Time
It is the time when the night ends, the time for the night prayer (Isha) finishes, and the time for the morning prayer (Fajr) begins, when the first light of dawn appears.
Sunrise Time
It is the time when the sun rises above the horizon, marking the end of the morning prayer (Fajr). With the sunrise, the obligatory time for the morning prayer ends.
Morning Prayer (Fajr) Time
It starts at the time of Imsak (dawn) and ends with the sunrise.
Noon Prayer (Dhuhr) Time
It begins when the sun passes its zenith and starts to decline westward. The time for the noon prayer starts when the sun begins to move from its highest point in the sky toward the west.
Afternoon Prayer (Asr) Time
According to the majority of scholars, it begins when the shadow of an object becomes equal to its length. According to Abu Hanifa, it begins when the shadow becomes twice its length. It continues until sunset.
Evening Prayer (Maghrib) Time
It starts with the sunset and ends when the twilight disappears in the western horizon. The evening prayer can be performed within this period.
Night Prayer (Isha) Time
It begins when the darkness of the night falls and continues until the second dawn (true dawn). The Witr prayer is also performed during this period.
Tarawih Prayer Time
The time for the Tarawih prayer begins after performing the night prayer (Isha) and continues until the morning prayer (Fajr).
Eid Prayer Time
The time for the Eid prayer starts after the sun rises and the disliked time (karahat) passes. It continues until the sun reaches its zenith (istiva).
