One child was killed and three others injured after a bomb that they found exploded in the southeastern province of Diyarbakır
An explosion in Silvan district of the southeastern Turkish province of Diyarbakır killed one child and injured three other children on Thursday.
The blast reportedly happened in the Tekel neighborhood of Silvan while children were playing in a field where a ditch was dug by outlawed PKK terrorists and barricades were built on streets to shut entry.
The innocent children, aged between 5 and 10, took the pre-planted toy-like explosive and started to play with it.
Some media outlets reported that the children were playing in the garden of a boarding school when the bomb detonated and killed one of them leaving three others injured.
The injured children were taken to Silvan Public Hospital.
An investigation has been launched into the cause of the blast.
