Turkey wins five gold in US Open Taekwondo Championships

Turkey claims 5 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals in championships

Turkey bagged eight medals in this year's U.S. Open Taekwondo Championships.

Turkey claimed five gold, one silver and two bronze medals at the championships in Las Vegas which concluded on Sunday.

Irem Yaman and Hatice Kubra Irgun bagged gold in the women's category, while Hakan Recber, Hasan Can Lazoglu and Emre Kutalmis Atesli bagged gold in the men's category.

Deniz Dagdelen won silver while Zeliha Agris and Nafia Kus won bronze in the tournament.
