Suleyman Atli beats Russia's Nachyn Mongush in men's 57 kg freestyle final at European Wrestling Championships

Turkish wrestler Suleyman Atli clinched a gold medal on Tuesday at the European Wrestling Championships.

Atli, 26, defeated Nachyn Mongush of Russia 6-5 in the final of the men's 57 kg freestyle in Poland's capital Warsaw.

The Turkish athlete had advanced to the final after beating Naim Salim Mikyay from Bulgaria.
