US’ Madeleine Albright says ‘it was worth it’ after half a million Iraqi children killed
A shocking video of America’s first female secretary of state has resurfaced after reports announced that she had died at the age of 84 on Wednesday. Madeleine Albright was asked in 1996, "We have heard that half a million [Iraqi] children have died. I mean, that is more children than died in Hiroshima. And, you know, is the price worth it?" to which she replied: "I think that is a very hard choice, but the price, we think, the price is worth it."
